Introduction

Guizhou Guotai Group, a powerhouse with five major production bases including Guotai Liquor, Guotai Manor, Guotai Jude, Guotai Maoyuan, and Guotai Juzhi, boasts an annual production capacity of 56,000 tons of premium liquor and over 90,000 tons of aged base liquor in storage. The group’s substantial contributions are evident in its annual tax payment exceeding 10 billion yuan (approximately 1.39 billion US dollars). With the burgeoning market demand for sauce-flavored liquor, Guotai Liquor faced the urgent need to upscale its steam supply capacity to meet escalating production requirements while ensuring seamless integration with the brewing process.

The existing steam system at Guotai Liquor fell short in meeting the energy demands for distillation, sterilization, and temperature control in the fermentation pits post-expansion. Breaking past the conventional supply limit of 20 tons per boiler became imperative. Liquor brewing mandates a consistent and reliable steam pressure, with strict criteria for thermal efficiency and environmental emissions.

Responding to this challenge, the technical team at ZOZEN Boiler undertook a comprehensive evaluation of Guotai Liquor’s production line and crafted a customized solution utilizing the WNS series 25 tons gas fired steam boiler. This tailored approach not only ensured technical compatibility but also elevated energy efficiency levels.
